does the job. best test, measure and control

I needed something to check the temperature of an adjustable soldering iron. That way I can get the temperature right instead of just cranking all the way. It works well, accurately and not very expensive. I sometimes find other uses for it. I've always wanted one for those random things and it's good for that too. Good buy, under $15.
