Do not buy this from Thermometer

This is a very affordable premium thermometer. The fact that it can only read in degrees Celsius is ridiculous when cheaper thermometers have that capability. The F° range is listed on the back of the box. The package states that instructions are included, but the package does not. Looking at the previous two reviews it seems they are wrong judging by the reviewer's name.

YOU have to convert the tempo. Celsius to Fahrenheit

Easy to use product. Very accurate. (I checked this with another thermometer). But it only returns the temperature in degrees Celsius. Therefore, we, the users, need to convert to Fahrenheit. Or remember that anything above 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 F) means you likely have a fever. If you want to know exactly how high. You have to convert it. I wish it had a way to select Celsius or Fahrenheit, but it doesn't. I see it as a way to keep my math skills sharp. But it's a bit cumbersome.

Unreliable: waste of money

Edited 05/14/2020: We in our golden years often have body temperatures below 98.6 degrees standard. This POS reads low and combined with a lower body temperature, it often doesn't even show temperature at all. Doesn't beep when it's ready to read as the description promises, so I'm probably holding it in my mouth longer than necessary. Otherwise it looks satisfactory. If you missed the fine print, note that it shows the temperature in degrees Celsius. This suits me as I am bilingual for…
