This one is suitable for children

This can heat food for a short time. That's small. We love the size. Easy to open for children. But it's not very easy to wash, so I took 3.

Kids Lunch: Thermoses

Perfect for my sons lunch. He wanted to take soup and ravioli and all that to lunch at school. We even put in hot water and a hot dog for him (the perfect size for that), he loves it! Happy kid, happy me lol

Son loves home cooked meals

Purchased so my first grader can enjoy hot meals at home. He says the food is always warm when he eats lunch. A word of advice... I pour hot water into the container to warm it up before putting food in it.

5 hours and food at room temperature!

After 5 hours the food is neither cold nor hot. Above room temperature! The kids don't really care, but it's a bit disappointing! They are easy to open and clean, and I activate them first with boiling water for 10 minutes.

  • Very impressive

Perfect for kindergarten!

My 5 year old has a handle to easily open this thermos. Portion size is sufficient and not too big. It's light and most importantly it stays hot! I boil water for 10 minutes to prepare the thermos while my child gets ready for school before pouring in the hot contents for the day. Oatmeal, hot dogs, rice, etc.

Pros
  • Great for me

  • Not sure

Just good for me, not as good as I was hoping.

Uh, okay, but I've found cheaper options that are just as good or even better. The size is good for my youngest child. The size fits well in a lunch box. A handle on top makes it easy for my child to open and close without falling. Great for pasta and chicken nuggets, but I haven't tried soups yet. My complaint: I fill it with near-boiling water according to the instructions, then empty and fill with hot contents, and after 3-4 hours my child complains that it's not as warm as it should be. I…
