This is a great toy for the only child that parents can't keep entertained.

My 10 year old son is obsessed with this game. He loves to figure out every maze. This forces him to use problem-solving skills and logic. This is a great toy for an only child whose parents cannot entertain a child every minute. He prefers video games! Now that means something.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I can't fault that, everything is fine

Fun game, highly recommend

Great game, but once you get the basics down, the solutions/patterns are pretty easy to spot. They also build a laser maze which is also a lot of fun but even easier. It's a step up since the laser maze is 2D and this one is 3D. However, the more difficult levels are not radically more difficult. The kids love it and I'm glad they're into an educational game (don't tell them about it ;-) All in all a very good game and I'm happy with the purchase.

Fun Single Player Game

My son was very disappointed with the simplicity of this game so we decided to donate it to the local hospital. I reconsidered my decision based on some positive feedback, resumed the game, and read the instructions more closely. I tried a few beginner cards, then some advanced cards and found the game fun and interesting! I explained the game to my boys (too impatient to read the instructions) and they were totally engrossed in the game. Both guys tried several maps and found the game both…

  • Absolutely Amazing!

Put off future buyers

I won't lie. This is a fancy laser. No longer. I regret buying this item and trying to return it was a nightmare. Instead of bothering about a refund I just kept it and put it on the top shelf and used it as a future gift for someone I don't like. It doesn't have many scientific uses other than face cards to place things on. I was hoping to gain scientific knowledge from this for my children, but it's not. Not for kids as he has no knowledge about lasers other than solving puzzles to figure out

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Make sure to stack the pieces correctly!

I used to be a big fan of all sorts of puzzle games like Rush Hour and the like. Types of logic puzzles that gradually increase in difficulty that all (or most) kids can work with, just to make them think differently. But we kept losing pieces and I just didn't have any left. The laser maze is similar to this puzzle, just because it's more like a game in size, I think it will be easier for us to keep track. The basic idea is that you have different parts with mirrors and angles and a part that…
