Ease of installation. for high brake lights

Worked great as I needed it to pass the inspection. Easy to install and works the first time. The delivery was quick and I had no problems with it.

  • Hands free operation
Cons

Exactly what I needed

First I bought one from another seller. The plug didn't fit but they sent a pigtail so I cut the wires and plugged in the pigtail. The pig's tail didn't match the light that went with it! This light matched my original wiring, allowing me to reconnect the original wiring harness and install it with little effort.

Stock harness guard will not fit

I got it working on my 2000 Suburban and it's light but at first the harness didn't fit and the inner pins were bent. A simple install would have been to remove the gasket from the seat belt but I didn't want moisture getting in. So I trimmed the seal around the edges and then cut it to 2/3 the length and then got a belt with some seal to fit inside. square (and not oval like the original) plug-in wiring harness.

Fast OEM on High Mount Stop Lights

The only negative comments on this product: First, the cable connector was VERY difficult to connect. I had to use both hands and a sideways screw driver to try and snap it in, which I just barely managed to do. Second, in the design, the bottom row of LEDs is partially covered by a rubber grommet. This is the third brake light and it's still on, but I think I've lost some of the visible field of view. Finally the light came on and it came on. That's what I need.

BIG difference: Light assemblies and accessories

Much brighter than stock. Purchased to replace the light bar on a 1997 Suburban. I was able to swap it out in about 15 minutes using just a Phillips screwdriver and a small flat tip to open the connector latch. connect and then make it pretty when I put it back together. If your old light bar is failing, this is an easy fix and I highly recommend it!.

Made a mistake - Lights and Lighting Accessories

This advert is misleading BUT it worked in my favor. This is a smoked third brake light, NO RED LENS. I've never been a smokey-lens guy, but it looks damn good in my '99 suburb. Good advice too. If you have never replaced your third light and this is your first time. For Yukon, suburbs and Tahoe. Remove the clips from the rear headliner, the connectors included in the kit mate perfectly. It's just hidden under the headliner. I didn't know this and connected mine with wire nuts.

Different from the original

My original lasted about 8 years, most likely from a different manufacturer. The 2 LEDs in the center stopped working which prompted the officer to stop my wife and warn me about my slight shadow. The first time in 8 years. The original was completely black and the light only came out the front where it belongs. This one is smoky or gray and the light shines everywhere. I originally used this model to replace the stock rear brake light for more visibility due to the lower profile and it also…

Very bright in brake light and tail light assemblies, parts and accessories

Installed on my 1995 GMC Jimmy. Mine is unusual in that the brake light is attached to the sunroof glass rather than the car itself. I had to cut some plastic around the mounting holes on the headlight to allow it to sit flush with the car's molding, which is to be expected since this headlight is used in many GM applications. I saw a video on how to attach a piece of string or wire to an old flashlight harness to thread through the wire hole so I can rethread the new harness during…

If you have a 2000 Blazer you better have a Dremel tool

plug and play it says. However, to mount the headlights to the 2000 Blazer mounting bracket you will need to remove material from the body of the new headlight (it won't be noticeable when you're done if you do it right). If you know how to use a Dremel and have a flat sander you can do it, but otherwise you're out of luck. Also, the jack you need for wiring is half the size of the original. You need to cut the original and put it on one. If all this doesn't bother you, it fits in the usual…
