🍷 Thirstystone Wine Cellar Stoneware Coaster Review

Good quality. I took two different sets of these stones and noticed that the ones with patterns didn't absorb water as well as the old plain stones. It collects on the surface of the coaster and when you move the glass it drips from the bottom. It appears that there is a wax coating on the surface. They needed a kitchen sponge and this actually improved absorbency with no noticeable difference in the picture.

These are none other than Thirstystone coasters previously purchased. Definitely not worth the money, the coasters bought previously were great. It's not like this. Larger in diameter, smaller in depth and most importantly, the coasters stick to cold/'sweaty' glass when handled because they have a completely different surface (shiny surface vs. porous surface on the original coasters). Definitely worth the price when I first bought them, they suck :(

These are by far the worst coasters I have ever seen. Doesn't absorb water at all. I have other coasters, I don't remember the manufacturer but they work fine. Not thinking they would be that bad, I took one after the glass had been sitting on it for about 15 minutes. Water dripped, but the glass stuck to the stand.
