Great little hammer

Great little hammer, I have a full set of copper hammers. If you're going to hit metal and don't want to damage what you're hitting, copper hammers are the only way out. I couldn't imagine not having one in my toolbox.

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Damaged

The best hammer for an auto mechanic.

I have a #3 Thor hammer that I bought 10 years ago in a Mac truck. The best hammer for a mechanic IMO. I wanted a smaller version so I ordered this one. It's a lot smaller than I thought, only about 8 inches long! Although I love it and use it all the time. I have to order a bigger one though. I want to own Thor's hammer in all sizes.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Leave it to the British to make a fine hammer!

I really wanted a Vaughan 580-08 C100 Copper Face hammer for leatherwork (buy an American one) but since they sent me the wrong hammer I returned it and didn't do anything from them hear about replacing the hammer with the real one. (See the Vaughan 580-08 C100 Copper Face Hammer Review.) This British hammer has since dropped in price and I ordered it. That's exactly what I wanted! This is very well done, solid work. It's the right weight and grip.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Great little hammer, I have a full set of brass hammers. If you're going to hit metal and don't want to damage what you're hitting, copper hammers are the only way out. I couldn't imagine not having one in my toolbox.

Pros
  • Perfect for hard work that requires sure hits with maximum weight and power
Cons
  • Not bad but...
