Use with a next level racing position will cause clamping and low placement issues. The switch is really low and the clip type makes it uncomfortable. but it does the job of a solid construction.

I made this purchase without much searching and found that it was a clip only and does not include the other items shown in the photo. To top it off, there was a huge restocking fee. I am very disappointed with the lack of product information and the seller's misleading photos.

I bought this for a secondary handbrake (not for traction) and a TH8 TM front derailleur. The derailleur plate is designed to attach to the TM handbrake, not the clamp itself, which disappointed me. I was able to design and attach the clamp using the L brackets, which was easy enough, but be aware that unless you buy a 400 handbrake, the installation won't be that easy.

so I bought it thinking I'd need it to clamp my shifter and brake to my desk but the dam thing weighs even more than the handbrake itself Thrustmaster! I ended up just taking the screws and bracket for the th8a and throwing away the entire clip. waste of money. I didn't really want to buy this clip because of the price. Over $100 for a collar is very expensive. Unfortunately I really needed to pair my Sparco handbrakes and Thrustmaster gearbox (exactly like in the picture) so I took a chance. It turned out that this collar is very well designed. and excellent quality. It has many areas to modulate how you want to attach your gear to it. It clamps very well on my 2" thick table. Large and muscular. Designed specifically for the TM handbrake, but others will work if you have a drill and a box full of nuts and bolts. Chinese handbrakes fit with little work. The included shifter bracket is designed to bolt onto the side of the TM handbrake. It's definitely s#!@ bolted to the side of the main frame.
