Legs break easily, fits stool

My son took it to sweep under and although the stool is stiff one of the legs broke off when he put it back on. When I looked at the kink, I realized that the foot didn't hold onto the base very well. I will drill holes and insert dowels with glue to hold them together. I almost want to break the rest to strengthen it. Nice things though.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • No instructions

Nice looking accent furniture crap

Do I expect superior craftsmanship from a footstool made in China by Fuzhou Light Industry? Nothing special. However, you have to remember that this piece of shit is glued together. Also, all guests should be warned that while the stilettos make the chair stable, anyone SITTING on the stool does so at their own risk. I would estimate that the true value of an item is around 25% of its price. Probably less.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Damaged

Most disappointing purchase Revain

It was the look I wanted, it was the product I wanted but it was a complete failure in terms of reliability. Less than four months later, in a home with two adults and no children, the stool's legs gave out. My husband, an engineer, tried to fix his leg but to no avail. It was a cheap staple product and due to the thin pressed cardboard construction, it could not be removed with a bolt and screw. I do NOT advise against buying it.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Some flaws

A nice way to take off your shoes at the entrance.

I ordered two stools for the hallway and they work great. In general, the look and materials are of high quality. The packaging could have been better. Out of 8 feet between 2 chairs, 3 were broken from the base. They appear to be held in place with small clips which I think would be sufficient for basic use. It seems the small blocks of foam weren't enough to keep the legs stable during transport. The repair was easy enough and I am happy with the product.

Pros
  • Looks great
Cons
  • Working speed

The overall effect is good: fine styling

The overall effect is good: fine styling, colored imitation leather patterns, decorative hats. The floor is composite wood and the legs are not that good. The legs look plastic. The plastic caps at the ends of the legs are rough rather than smooth, and the ottoman barely slides on the carpet; I bought a smooth mat for the floor so it slides better. The flat panel on the bottom also looks artificial, and one rounded corner was chipped off during assembly and glued/painted instead of being…

Pros
  • Neat workmanship
Cons
