Buyer Be careful and persevere

I bought it from Revain in July but waited too long to open it and too long to return it. When I discovered the hinge was defective, I contacted the True Fabrications seller. Their agent called me back immediately and offered to send me another color of my choice. I told them anyone would do it. What they sent was a cheaper model, but I agree; It's lighter and works better with my arthritic hands. This one is heavy, but not because it's beautifully inlaid with real wood and made of thick steel.

A few months ago I looked at this corkscrew and another from the same company, True Fabrications Truetap Metal, double hinged, easy to use. Restaurant Compact Waiter Quality Corkscrew with Foil Cutter - Metallic Red The red metal corkscrew looked good and wasn't very expensive. Natural wood looked more sophisticated.
