Timberland Big Tall Classic Leather Reversible Review

I needed a decent reversible belt for work and I really liked the look and fit of this Timberland belt. But after a few weeks the pressed leather around the buckle started to degrade and after a month the leather in the buckle came loose and the belt became unusable. Compare that to an actual leather belt that I've had for almost 20 years and is still as durable and functional as the day I bought it for $10 and this belt is a bad buy. I will not buy Timberland again.

DO NOT BUY! Good qualities: beautiful appearance, photos and descriptions were correct. The Bad: It broke like so many other reviews. The buckle came off the belt. And I can't figure out how to contact Timberland to fix this problem! It should be a reputable company. A one star rating should be ZERO, but eBay forces you to choose between one and five stars. Let's see if they endorse their product.

The skin appears tight. The buckle is attractive and of good quality. Screwed belt connection with buckle. Good turning mechanism. What's not to like? :) The size given is the smallest belt size, not the average size. For example, 40 inches would mean 40-44 inches, not 38-42 inches or 36-40 inches.

It wasn't my best buy. That's my review. The band is solid but the screws keep falling out. I had to keep turning them back.

In total I ordered 5 belts 2 (36 inches), 2 (38 inches) and 1 (40 inches). I bought them for gifts. Unfortunately, one of the 40-inch harnesses isn't fitted properly. The belt was attached to the buckle at an angle. The screw on the strap is missing. So this one is back on ebay. While the other 4 look fine, that curved strap made me question the quality of these straps. I would rate these belts 4 stars as they are value for money. I love the look of this belt but you get what you pay for. I bought this belt in November and the buckle broke after just four months. It is screwed to the skin, not sewn. This is a design flaw that will inevitably fail. Honestly I would look for a higher quality melt.

Thanks to Timbaland, Magoo, and the cow who selflessly gave her life so I could stay in the building, this belt goes a long way in keeping my pants over the escort out of the building. Thanks.

The belt buckle is held by 4 set screws. 2 dropped out after a few months. I asked Timberland to send me new ones and they refused. They only offered me a gift card for Timberland's online store, which charges the suggested retail price. So I paid the prices on ebay (about $22), the strap fell apart after a few months and they didn't replace the strap which wasn't stated on the Timberland website. And they didn't give me enough credit to buy another one. What a scam! I will not buy another…

I've had many reversible belts, but the construction of this belt is way better than any other belt I've bought in the past. I am very happy with my purchase. It has a solid construction and doesn't feel flimsy on the go.

This product is small. My husband wears size 32 jeans. Normally you order the next size up, which is a size 34. I ordered a size 34. She didn't even come close to the size. I gave this belt to someone else. I reordered and ordered a size 36. This belt appeared to be smaller than a size 34.

Bought this belt for work. I've worn it about 15 times and it's already falling apart. I work in the catering industry. Not a very large load on the belt. Very disappointed as I thought Timberland made the quality better. I will no longer buy from them.

The quality of the strap and clasp is good. I was twice disappointed with the hardware holding the strap to the buckle. I bought a belt and after a few months I had a failure. I made a second purchase thinking it might have been a one time failure but the second strap failed the same way. The price corresponds to the quality received, but if you buy this belt, be aware that it can fail within 3 months.

The belt is better than I expected, made of high quality leather and corresponds to the description. I believe this belt will last as long as I can maintain my current waist size.

I bought this belt because the width was advertised as 1.4 inches. Actually less than 1.2 inches. waste of time and money. Completely disappointed.

I expected more from Timeberland. One of the "holes" of the buckle is already broken. I would like to return but the window was closed. I will not buy again

He had a previous belt like this for over 4 years. He lost a little weight so I went down a size. This one fits perfectly and looks better as the old one has been well used. I like that it can be black or brown with easy customization. Very good product.

This is an amazing belt. I have two of these now. I needed a new one and bought it again without hesitation. The first belt was bought back in 2016. I still wear it every day.

The belt is not so strong and durable, the belt clasp keeps falling off. That's my feedback! I won't be buying any more in the near future.

Please note the product works great but the material is not what you would expect from Timberland. Please note that I have three Timberland belts and the material of this product is stiffer and less flexible.

Received this product and the strap came loose from the buckle. I can't believe how badly this was done. I had to send it back.
