Good product! good for hiking backpacks

I have been a long time fan of Timbuk2 products and found this product did not disappoint. It mounts flawlessly and stays securely in place. The best thing about the bag was the reflective fabric. The whole bag also lights up during the day.

Pros
  • camping
Cons
  • crumpled packaging

Get them while you can

It seems Timbuk2 has ditched that in favor of a new model. Shame. I like that. Have them on multiple bikes in the family. Bulletproof design and just the right size for essentials without entering the dark zone. I learned the hard way to stick with black or reflective black. Everything else gets dirty. Or at least to show his dirtiness. Black is no doubt just as sentimental, but it doesn't show it.

Pros
  • Travel Backpacks
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Generally a good bag; many flaws.

I bought this backpack because I thought it would easily fit between different bikes. It did not work. It can be very difficult to thread the top strap through the saddle rails. Another downside is the long slack that hangs down after tightening the clamps. Looks a bit silly on a skinny road bike. Access to the zip is difficult due to the saddle, so one of the straps has to be undone to open the zip. Sigh. Otherwise a nice bag that fits the back of the seat post without chafing the thigh. Too…

Perfect size for road/travel tool kit

This pack is just the right size for a flat set and is small enough not to need a strap around the seat tube in the front. This is good if you have a post dropper. It also has a handy little key hook so you don't lose your keys when you need to fix the apartment. Don't even think about putting your phone in it if you don't have a flip phone. I usually put a multi tool, mounting hardware, patch kit, CO2 blower and 2 cartridges in it. The band and clips are easy to put on and take off without…

A little too small - Outdoors

I bought this to fit my new road bike. I have one of those mountain bike backpacks and I love it. I was able to take a multi-tool, tube repair kit, chain oil and some snacks with me on the trip. This means that the multi-tool hardly fits in my backpack. This backpack is only a few inches wide and maybe 5 inches deep. You can put in a small bottle of chain lube or a bike multi-tool, but you won't get anything else. A pretty useless product for me. I can keep it and give it to one of my children.

Pros
  • Sport and Outdoors
Cons
  • Some bugs
