This is an amazing watch. I was able to set the time by following the instructions. I think people who can't tell the time don't know what to expect. This is the second watch of this type that I have bought for my grandmother. She has wet macular degeneration and very poor vision. She relies heavily on this watch. The first one broke after a year. At first the hands of the clock stopped working, which didn't bother us because it mainly listened to the time. But then the voice stopped. I'd happily buy her one a year based on her dependency on it, but I'm hoping this one will last over a year.
