Great price for a very good smartwatch

I don't need a smartwatch with a lot of bells and whistles. Just something that sends me notifications and has good battery life, and this watch fits the bill perfectly. I fully charged the battery over a week ago and it's still around 55%. That's incredible. The app is so-so, but works well. Just note that it was a bit difficult to pair with my phone. But it's been a great watch ever since. Looks very nice - very stylish.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

My general feedback is that this is a great looking watch, the functions are very good, the only problem is that if you have insurance that does a daily step count for a points system requires, the watch is useless, the watch connects to Strava or Runkeeper, but your daily steps on these pages do not count as an activity, even if the watch could connect directly to Humana or other insurance, my overall rating would be 5 stars in all Categories, I've contacted Timex and they couldn't get theโ€ฆ

Competent smartwatch at an affordable price

I like that this smartwatch looks and feels like a traditional watch but has the features and functions of a smartwatch. I've set it up to display a traditional chronograph watch face that activates when I move my wrist, and only shows minimally battery-saving analogue faces the rest of the time. and my heart rate. It also easily informs me of the weather, notifications of incoming messages from a smartphone and calls (via Bluetooth) and also has a timer and a countdown timer. It offers moreโ€ฆ

Great watch on a smart watch

I previously had a Samsung which was heavier and slower and lasted about a day on battery. This watch is wow better. I've had it for a week now and still haven't charged it. It tracks my runs and heart rate and doesn't crash mid-run. This saves time and of course. The only thing not great is that notifications don't always sync to my Pixel 3a. Maybe because I have it in my pocket, not sure but I know it should work. Otherwise it's a very solid watch. It doesn't feel cheap like the $60 Amazfitโ€ฆ

Great smartwatch - easy to use and affordable!

I am very happy with this smartwatch. Being a Fitbit person for years, I was frustrated with their issues with my Ionic and poor customer service. I decided to try Timex and to be honest I didn't think I would like it. I was positively surprised! This watch is easy to use and tracks heart rate, exercise, and sleep more accurately than Fitbit products. The face is clearly visible in the sun and the Timex app gives me all the information I need in detail. It charges fast and is a lot easier thanโ€ฆ

Exactly what I need - YMMV

This is a replacement for the outdated Garmin Fenix 15. I needed long battery life (when not using GPS), basic fitness monitoring, including "on the wrist". Heart rate, approximate calorie tracking, fast charging, and reasonable cost. All of my needs were met in this watch/device. Although the watch has many more features, it was an added plus for my needs and didn't add complexity to the device. . . I've used Timex expedition and triathlon watches for decades, and the Metropolitan is evenโ€ฆ

Low and inaccurate fitness tracking smartwatch

I bought this 'smartwatch' for my health/life insurance and fitness programs. Unfortunately, due to inaccuracies, I cannot recommend this device as a fitness tracker. As opposed to my performance drop from tracking healthy activities, reporting these incorrect monitoring stats would inevitably increase my performance as the numbers put me in the "risk zone". As I sit and write this review, my heart rate is 138 beats per minute. When I measure my heart rate manually, it's 71 beats per minuteโ€ฆ

Fur. It could be better.

Not yet. battery, -2. Accuracy 3. My biggest complaint is that as a health monitor I'm not impressed at all. I originally bought it to track my sleep. Well, it's very unfortunate. The logs start correctly about 20% of the time. If you tend to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you won't like it. I woke up at 1:30am last night, used the restroom, and when I checked my stats it turned out that my sleep was considered complete, although I fell asleep again for another 5 hours. It's not
