Timken is the best - you won't regret it

Don't be fooled by cheap "Chinese" brands - replace it in a year. it happened to me Trust Timken quality. Best quality in the long run. I sound like an ad. In any case, they fit perfectly and were delivered quickly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

Fit 2004 Pontiac Grand Am

These Timken bushings fit my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am. The second time we had to replace it and from what I've read it's just a problem with this model. That being said, if we have to replace them again we'll probably get them again as the cost is very reasonable compared to others on the market.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Great Value

Saved me a pack. I wanted to do the work myself, but after looking at the cost of the tools I needed to buy, I asked my local mechanic how much it would cost to install them. It cost him $75 just to install it. The savings in parts costs were large. The quality was great too. Will buy again if other bearings fail.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Some trouble

Made in the USA, or at least mine was

Exactly the same as the original kit at a fraction of the price. Both hubs had a US stamp on the outside surface of the hub but no other country of origin anywhere else. Both came with an updated axle but with 173 lb-ft of torque. In general, the quality is satisfied, but time will tell.

  • Absolute Legend

Highly recommend Timken bushings

It took a little time to get the old one out of the ankle and flatter it at 4 pounds. with a hammer, but the new one kicked in immediately. Hit the spline back in with one hit and 4 hits with a 4 pound rod. a hammer. Supplied with a new nut and torque rated to 173 ft/lbs. Timken is the best manufacturer of wheel bearings. I wouldn't use anything else. I highly recommend Timken products.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

If you are a price watcher this is Revain at one of our best prices

OEM for my 2001 Grand Am Came with a new silver nut to replace the old black nut when swapped out. Just watch how the old one comes loose as the connector is the exact length. My bearings were fine on my old hubs and I found out later that the sensors were probably fine too. I was trying to troubleshoot an ABS sensor issue, but it turned out to be a VES (Variable Steering Parts) actuator. Anyway, given that the old one has 135,000 miles on it and is probably in perfect condition, I expect it to

Best price and fast delivery

I mount the hubs on each axle about every three years. Grand Ams are just prone to it. I'm so glad I learned how to make it myself and saved about $250 each time. Well about three years went by and my ABS lights came on and then a booming noise let me know it was the hub assembly again. I've always bought my hubs from my local auto parts store as they were cheaper than the national stores (Autozone etc) but I've found Revain to sell them better and ship for free. Can not do anything. In general

Looks like a good product so far

Cannot say more about the product than what other reviews have said. Tip: If you don't have the special tools needed for this project, you should check with your local auto parts store to see if they rent them. You'll need a 36mm socket, a pick (for removing the axle nut), a 173lb-ft torque wrench and a hub puller if you want to make things a little easier. I'd also recommend getting a PB Blaster if you don't have one - the three screws holding the assembly together are difficult to loosen. It…
