Nice CB mount - CB radios and scanners

CB antenna mounted on the back of a jeep. Well done. The only issue I have is that the surface of the antenna is slightly tilted, causing tilt. I rubbed it with a washing machine.

    • Ideal for a small house

    • Not for everyone

Nice solid suspension. good for stationary radios CB

I use these because I need a high gain antenna and the body panels on my Bronco are too narrow to accommodate the coax cable for the front fender mount. You may need to buy another one and sync it. The mounting location is just behind the door.

The cable has the wrong plug size

The mount itself is excellent. The cable length was just right for my application. However, the spade lug was too small to fit over the stud on the bracket. I ended up having to replace it with a larger one. I don't mind it much, but some customers may be missing a soldering iron.

Excellent option for installing CB antennas and scanners.

I bought these (2) to install CB antennas and a scanner without drilling holes in the bed of a truck. They are mounted on the back of my truck's tool box and prevent me from running a separate ground wire. When connected to a Firestick purchased at the same time and the new Uniden sideband, I was able to get a 1 to 1 match on both channels 1 and 40. Easy to install, looks very clean and I would buy them again. Thank you Revain and Firestick!

    Great antenna mount CB

I bought this to fit my 2010 Jeep Wrangler. The instructions are clear and the Firestik website has more information. Installation is easy and looks like it came from the factory. Great device and great company. If you are using a spring between this bracket and your antenna you will need a washer or nut as the notch in the bracket will not allow for a proper connection. Apologies for the rusty nut (it was the only thing that fit in my toolbox), it will be replaced with a coated washer once I…

Simple installation in fixed radios CB

At the moment I give 5 stars. It was very easy to install. I used a step drill and light pressure to drill through the solid body of my precious Cherokee. I coated the installation site with a thick layer of car wax to avoid moisture problems. The outside has a thick rubber pad so I don't have to worry about moisture getting in. Make sure the nylon grommet fits in the top hole so the screw doesn't touch anything or your radio can't receive or transmit. Use thread lock on the nuts and you're…

The best and cleanest way to install a CB antenna!

Bought to drive my 2004 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I installed it with my 5ft Firestik antenna and Firestik spring under the passenger side tail light. Works great, had no problems. My Cobra CB works very well with it too. I drilled two holes in the bodywork as directed to install it and then I also drilled a hole in the very back of the jeep next to the passenger side cross member mount to route the wires through. I did this and then routed the wires down the side of the jeep (I don't have carpet so I…

Can be stronger but works reasonably well

If you're going to put it where wind currents will weigh on your antenna you'll need a 4 foot antenna or smaller and preferably a small diameter antenna like the Firestik Firefly. The black plastic outer shell is just a shell. It won't handle the stress of driving in strong headwinds on the interstate with a thick 5-foot fiber optic antenna. I also got the distinct impression that this mount is weaker on the side of the car than on the rear. In other words, there is less tension in lateral…
