Good: very light weight, offers good corner protection and a slightly raised edge. Non-slip. Bad: Button overlay/click could be improved. Operating the volume controls through the lid is a bit awkward, but pressing the sleep button on the top is downright difficult. A large lip around the rim would have made it easier to hold without noticeably impacting the weight.

While this case isn't as thick as it looks in the photos, it's a fantastic case. I ordered one for my work iPad and I liked it so much that I ordered another one for my personal iPad. It is very well made and durable. Works great with my screen protector on both. Nice body, simple and elegant. I saw this case as a recommendation on Reddit. I sought help after buying two suitcases which I ended up returning. My main concern was getting a non-folio case that would work with my screen protector. Very nice and thin but not my first choice if there were more options. The edge is very flat. So if the iPad falls face down, there is a chance that the screen will hit the ground and break. I think the transparent backing will turn yellow over time. Buttons are a little hard to press

Very simple. If you want to protect the corners of your tablet from bumps while keeping your device thin, this case is for you! I use my tablet for work, 6 to 8 hours a day. I use it to protect the corners and back and it does the job perfectly. Yes, you can spend a lot more money to do the same thing, but why? Save money. It works perfectly!

I got this for my original 2016 iPad Pro 9.7 and it fits perfectly except for the rear camera hole which is about ⅛ off. I just extended mine with a small file, but if you're not using the rear camera on your original iPad Pro then you don't really need to do anything, it still fits (assuming you need the smart keyboard port on the side and mind you not on the closed reversing camera).

Plus - lightweight, transparent backing for photos or just an iPad, buttons are easy to press, lid doesn't lift the edges, the lid does not interfere with the protective film. Cons - the only one I've come across is that it could have used a little more screen/lip protection. The case is slightly elevated above the iPad.
