I had to increase the inside diameter to make them fit. After increasing the inside diameter I was able to install them and they worked fine. I probably should have sent them back, but I was able to get them to work. I think they protect the engine from dirt and debris.

I have used a heat gun to cycle the heat on and off the motors and I have found that the aluminum covers actually work like heat sync and it makes the motors run 3* cooler. They are well balanced and have the same weight. You MUST REGISTER with the FAA when flying to America as they weigh over 150 grams.

A bit loose, I was very worried before I flew it for the first time. It seems to work normally, without unnecessary noise and braking. I've tested them in C, P, and S modes in all directions, over land and over water, and they seem to work well. I would have liked a tighter fit, but this really cleans up the look of the drone. I'm not sure if the weight of the drone exceeds 249 grams.

Attention buyers. The product arrived 2 weeks late. The product is of poor quality. They didn't even fit my Mavic Mini. Two of them were too small. One wasn't fully anodized and looked warped. The latter came up but wasn't level when seated. The processing was questionable. I do not believe a qualified person has operated the equipment used to manufacture this product. This item has passed quality control. You didn't pay attention.

Does not rattle, does not interfere with propellers and engine. The problem I faced, as with previous buyers, is apt. One out of every four had to be adjusted because it was too narrow and couldn't fit properly over the open engine. Instead of just taking the propellers off and done, I had to use pliers to adjust them, and I still do today.

After reading a lot about these engine covers on social media I finally decided to give them a try. Some say they can reduce ventilation in engines, causing them to overheat. However, I did my own testing with a heat gun and measured the temperature of motors with and without covers. Not only do these caps keep dirt and grit out, but they also act as heat sinks, pulling heat away from the motors and lowering the internal temperature. So, good buy. Five stars.
