Just like in the picture, the instructions were not easy, in fact for the most part I just used the picture shown to assemble it: it took me around 20-30 Understand and build minutes. My Siamese one and a half years old loves it, it's sturdy but don't assume if you have a big cat it won't fit too well, overall the best I've found for the price.

Easy to assemble despite the lack of instructions. Took me about 15 minutes, I have two fat cats who love it. They're adults, and as other reviewers have pointed out, this is more for kittens; but my cats REALLY love it and I only paid $33 for it so I'm happy. It goes all the way to the top of my couch so they can easily walk right onto the top of the couch. It's a little wobbly but I might end up buying another one because I really like it.

My cats love it. They are about 6 months old. One is medium sized and the other is much smaller. They like to share the upper perch and are immediately taken away by the scratching posts. Addendum: After a few weeks of use, the coating falls off in a heap. I keep sucking and hope it stops soon. So far no visible holes. Assembly went well, instructions could have been better. I recommend not over tightening the screws. I didn't like that the screw heads on the second level weren't flush with the platform. I had no problem assembling it --- I had instructions and pictures that made it pretty easy. First I sorted the parts to make sure I had them and to make sure I could see the difference in each part. Moved slowly and had no problems. I think with a large, heavy and/or more than one active cat/cats this will vary BUT it would be better to put them against the wall as directed in the instructions.
