🕶️ TJUTR Nighttime Polarized Photochromic Glasses Review

I heard about night vision goggles that help reduce glare from oncoming headlights and decided to see how they work. I drove into the midday sun around 6:30pm and headed to Cape May. I was expecting these goggles to reduce glare from oncoming headlights and improve my night vision, but it didn't - without them I got about the same glare as with them. I gave them to a friend and found that the photochromic lenses darken in bright sunlight.

Well not bad yellow glasses. But it doesn't get very dark outside, so for me it's not the best option compared to sunglasses. And they don't really suit my face. Too wide and the arms stick out too far from the head. The nose pads are also a bit uncomfortable and can bump against you if you get hit by a bouncer or something. I recently bought a couple of Bezos Kastking Hiwassee pairs and they just fit the face better so they don't compare well and won't be of much use.

I really like them! I have ordered some for my parents and siblings for their birthdays throughout the year. Clarity is excellent for relatively cheap sunglasses. In a pair of such inexpensive shades, the photochromic feature is remarkable. I am yellow to tan in color and the darkness is quite dark, the yellow ones allow me to wear them when the evening sun goes down and they also improve night driving.

They are lightweight, fit my face well and work great! With photochromatic lenses, I use them more often. I also bought the gray daytime version and am very happy with it. Because they darken in bright light, I can wear them in changing environments, so they're much more functional. I liked them so much I bought a second pair for another car.

Update - Due to a bad review I was contacted and told they would send another pair of glasses AND refund my money. Refunded my money and sent messages to update my review. I didn't get any more points. But then I got a refund. Here is my update. 1 star out of 2. I've been wearing them for 4 days now. Most of the time outside. The lenses do not darken at all in the sun. They emit this blue light that you can shine on the glasses and they darken with that light. But in the bright sun they do not…

Lenses are not photochromatic. I've worn them outside in bright sunlight and they don't darken. I covered one lens with a black cloth and left the glasses out in the sun. After 10 minutes both lenses looked the same. On the other hand, they are well suited to reduce glare when driving at night. I paid for photochromic lenses, this is not it.

Good for night driving. The frames are solid and look good. I bought these to reduce glare from office lights. What they do. They don't darken much in the sun. Just a few. They do reduce eye strain though and I've worn them driving at night and they also help with headlight glare. I am happy with the entire purchase. If you need to reduce glare from office lights or computer monitors, this should work.
