Works great and any complaints about locks not working are false

These locks work great. The only reason I wanted to take the time to review them was all the complaints about all the locks being broken upon arrival. People don't seem to understand that they are closed by the factory. You have to squeeze the locks harder to break the mechanism's factory "seal". That's all.

1 out of 10 worked, but there is a solution

1 out of 10 worked the same as the previous review. To repair, pry the button assembly out of the case with a very small flat (flathead) screwdriver. The spring must be detached from the guide knob. Use needle nose pliers to pinch the flared end and the spring will release. Put it back in the housing. Takes about 1 minute with practice. I'm still not sure if it's worth the effort.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • For seniors

I ordered two packs of 50 pieces.

Ordered and only 3 were good. I have notified the company. My husband had to take them apart and pull out the plastic spring on one end. He broke about 10 of these but I need them and they will cost too much to ship. I think now they will be fine! I only gave one star as they should be good initially and now I don't have as many of these as I ordered due to trying to fix a glitch.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

Might as well throw $6 in the trash

I ordered them and they all arrived broken. I figured it must have been an accident so I sent them back and re-ordered. nope! This company simply guarantees the quality of doodoo! Every.one.in the second package was also defective! Do not order from this company. You're more likely to get struck by lightning than get a working cable lock. If you make the mistake of ordering those cord locks and accidentally end up with at least one working cord lock, play the lottery right away.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • May damage

None of them in the package work. Ellipse Cord Lock Toaster

I bought these to use on face mask cords to help out due to Covid. I (like a lot of people) make masks for people who need them and I use these drawstring zips because you can't make them elastic. .this company should be ashamed. none of the big packages worked. luckily someone put the work in the comments so i could get it to work. no veteran i ever knew would let them be sold to the public! If times were normal, I would return them. The times are unusual and I had to use them now. DO NOT BUY…

Super Product

This product is the cream of the crop. Based on the reviews I read, I bought these to use with a 1/8" rubber line. I have used short 9" pieces of line and these line locks to make holders for two piece rods. I have also used the same configuration to hold line on open reels for transport. The combination holds everything without loosening. I was glad i read the reviews first because i was able to insert the elastic cord into the hole very easily and then press the cord release to release it…

TERRIFIC!

I bought a pack of 10 of these zips after looking at the many cord locks at Revain. I chose a pack of 10. I've used them as cord holders for some hoodies instead of trying to tie cords etc and then the washing machine still pulled them out of the hood. Anyway, I inserted the cord as the cord locks appeared to be "broken" but they weren't. (I knew better anyway). Someone has found that holding the plunger and then pulling the cord(s) through is tedious, which can be a problem if the hole isn't…
