Great dim but bad brights

Dim is great. Couldn't ask for it to be any better. It's just the bright light, it's good up close like pulling in my drive I can see it spread out but on the highway it's like the dim is still good but the only thing the bright does is spread out wider with a faint light, meanwhile its still bright as heck in just the dim area

very bright for my opinion

i installed this into a vstar 1100 headlight which was running just a standard H4 light with two LED pod lights on the bar. With this headlight i am getting the same amount of light that i got with the LED Pods and thats what i was looking for was a way to remove the pods. (not exactly legal to run the pods in my state)

Faulty! Unreliable!

The low beam stopped working during a night ride on my motorcycle. This nearly killed me and if I had not switched to the high beam I would have wrecked. I had it in for one week when this happened. This was in my 2014 fz09 and I verified it is not a wiring issue. I’m writing this review to warn other riders that this is not a reliable product and is unsafe.

impossible to install

The bulb comes with a red rubber gasket that goes between the bulb and the black plastic bracket. The rubber gasket is too thick so the bracket cannot be mounted to the bulb and locked in place. If you remove the rubber gasket you can mount it and lock it in but then the bulb will be way too loose and not secure. The bulb itself might be good, but it is useless if it can't be installed properly.

Great product just a little bulky

Great bulbs a little bulky so I had to do some fabrication but other than that they are good. Bright and long lasting. The bulb's 6500K cool white light may appear harsh and unnatural.

So bright! Just what I was looking for for a great price!

Will not work in most applications

If your car is fairly normal, it has a little wire that you extend across the bulb and hook down to hold the bulb in place. This bulb does not allow for that wire and can not be held in place.

Easy to hook up, bright

Can't comment on longevity as I've only had it for a few months and I ride pretty rarely. Much easier to install than those HIDs, though.

Harley Softail Deluxe conversion to LED headlight

Easy installation, although I had to modify the "boot" on the headlight assembly to accept the cooling fins. Otherwise, looks great, seems to work just fine. Proof will be road-testing.
