I like that the bottom is not slippery. However, the canvas part is not very structured at all. My daughter could barely walk in them, but they're also a bit too big for her (even with thicker socks). She wears size 4 baby clothes, which usually have room to wiggle. She is a size 3 and is very roomy (and she has fat legs). You get what you pay for. I do not regret the purchase. I'll let her try again when she's a little older.

Very cute shoes, especially for the price. I bought them for my son's first pair of shoes! I like that they were big to support his ankles but I don't think it's worth buying. He wore them several times, mostly in kindergarten, and took a few steps outside here and there. The shoes are falling apart, frayed and look like he's worn them for years. Also, there should be some non-slip materials on the bottom, but my son keeps slipping in it.

The shoe is a bit too long but can be put on very easily to keep the shoe on the baby's foot. My daughter loves taking her shoes off and I thought that would be an issue as they are large but the laces and design of the shoes allow them to be tightened in the right spot where she cannot take them off.
