I drop things a lot. This case is solidly built, yet lightweight and super drop-resistant. If, like me, you take your WiiU everywhere, then this is for you. Case fits surprisingly well - you can tell the effort has been made to get it right and I'm quite impressed with how snugly everything fits together. It's a nice soft foam case that doesn't offer much protection from drops, but if you're looking to slip it into something like a padded backpack or other carrying case (like the TOMEE "Wii U" carrying case) I'd have nothing to worry about.
