Tonic TNC2343EUS THoltz Scissors: Premium Haberdashery Tool for Crafting Review

I LOVE these scissors. I have to admit that I bought the first iteration of Tim Holtz with micro-serrated blades and have bought them in all three sizes. I was very dissatisfied with the result of using them to cut paper because of the serrated blade. I didn't like the micro-serrated edges. That's great! No micro-serrated blade and good sharp scissors. I use them to cut paper.

You don't hate scissors that leave combs in hand because you've cut too much or held them too tight. Well, they're not like that at all. The handle is soft and slightly porous. The blades are thin to maneuver in tight turns. I use it to cut fiddly pieces of paper for postcards. My sister uses them to cut fabric for patchwork boards. We both love them for very different purposes. They also come in a really nice metal case which is where I keep mine. Highly recommended.

Bought to cut standard card stock so I don't have the jagged edges that you can get with big scissors. They are a bit stiff, I think that will change with time. Decide if they are suitable for cutting any width of tape. Too bad they don't have a case although they come in a nice tin which is really useless for anything other than scissors as the foam doesn't come out clean, at least not for other uses.
