Shoulder spacing too small

Today I received a simple olive-colored jacket in the mail and although I liked it at first, the jacket is simply too small in the shoulder/arm area. I'm 5ft 7in, about 133lbs, waist 27.5in, hips 36in. I wanted a slightly roomier fit to be able to wear sweaters underneath so I ordered a large even though I'm usually small/medium. That's fine, depending on what you're buying it for.

I received this jacket today. So I can't speak of durability. The first thing I found was that the jacket is smaller than expected. I wear size 8 jeans. I'm 5'5" and 135 pounds. I ordered this jacket in a large size. It's tight in a sweatshirt. I expected the jacket to be looser. This jacket has no insulation. I wouldn't expect it to keep you warm in cold weather. Too big, shrunk after 1 wash, lining came loose at seam

Most reviews recommend going one size up. I'm 5'5", 160lbs and usually wear a large. I bought size XL and it was too big. I like looser things but it makes me look a lot heavier than I am. I sent the jacket back .at Kohl's Revain and ordered a large.I will update my review once I have a new jacket.Travel to the Pacific Northwest and nit was perfect.Update: I had to downgrade to 1 star.Though I like the look of this jacket, seems it shrunk after 1 wash and the seam in the middle of the lining…

Be sure to order at least one size larger.

I followed the review and ordered a size up but it was still a bit tight. I'm 5ft 3in, 130lbs and usually wear a size down. In this case, the medium fits well, but it's a little tight on my (admittedly broad, athletic) shoulders. I couldn't even wear a thin sweater underneath. .Also ordered a large one just to compare but ended up keeping the medium one because the large one was too baggy. Nice parka for fall/spring, XL size too big

UPDATE: is returned. Too large. It feels like I'm a kid wearing my mom's jacket to change. The sleeves are too long for me. If you are tall and wear size 14/16, this size will fit you better than me. Ordered one size larger. The big one is back too. It was too little. I ended up ordering a real one. The Levi's brand is three times the price, which is perfect for XL hands. Nice jacket for the price BUT not all of these jackets are made from the same fabric and sizes vary

Very comfortable, fit well and look great. I bought green khaki and love the color. I especially liked the soft fabric on the inside of the sleeves. It wasn't sewn very well because there was a huge hole in the breast pocket at the bottom and I didn't even use it. It doesn't matter though, as I'll never be using this bag anyway. I wish there was at least one inside pocket. So if you want a comfortable jacket, order a size or two up, but don't expect minor rips and tears to appear. Stars down to
