Had to send this one back. I'm pretty sure there was a wrong model number sticker on the box because the one I received didn't look like the picture and was about 3 inches longer than the one I pulled out. Reordered and got the right thing a second time.

I wouldn't waste my time on this, I would go and get the MSD distributor cap and rotor. I didn't have all the parts for it when it was delivered, the main issue was the lack of a contact brush for the rotor and coil leads and nearly set my truck on fire!

Fits a 1949 Ford pickup Chevy 327 in/cu engine. It was a bit snug because of the firewall, but it worked. The truck drives like a "raped monkey"! The power comes smoother, sooner and with more energy. The distributor arrived in two days, well packaged and in good condition, ready to use. To connect you need a "pigtail".

Almost everything is included, even the gasket. Bought some more at the Revain and replaced 2 power wires, the speedometer power harness that connects to this distributor - really just the coil in it. The one-page guide had an easier method than the popular instructional videos on the internet. Marking the location of the old or current manifold's vacuum inlet in addition to the location of the rotor unexpectedly made installation easier. Enjoy vastly improved performance; hope it lasts.

Profitable thing! It is very well made and is immediately noticeable when you open the packaging. I have used it on a 75 K5 Blazer with what I think is a tired 350 but replaced the original distributor with this one which has breathed new life into my old engine. On first start after installation I immediately noticed that the engine started immediately, the engine idled much smoother than before and it seemed to have more horsepower than with the factory distributor.
