This clock is good, cheap, easy to read, quiet and bright, but they fade very quickly no matter what light source is used.

The clock shines beautifully at night, but darkens after 2-3 hours. If you wear glasses, it is difficult to read without glasses. However, you can make out the approximate time. I usually wake up in the middle of the night with no light, so it's good to have this watch at night.

Glow in the dark! I bought a clock in the bathroom to tell the time at night. Although there is no window in the room for sunlight, the clock gets enough light energy from the bathroom lamps when they are rarely turned on to shine all night. The second hand runs smoothly, the quartz movement runs precisely.

It is not as bright as shown in the photos BUT later at night especially when eyes are used to the dark the numbers are actually visible. I got this for my parents who have complained about not being able to see the wall clock at night and are very happy with it. He's definitely kept his time so far.

Purchase One was quiet, good and having a good time -- Purchased another and this one was loud. Had to return one that didn't work properly for the first 30 days - I put it in the garage - noticed the timing was wrong. Even though I only had 30 days to get it back, I still have it - looks like the very first little round gear failed. Wanted to return it but found there is a 90 day return policy but time has passed. sad.
