🎧 4 inch Topzone 2.5mm Stereo "Y" Cable: 2.5mm Stereo Plug to Dual 2.5mm Jacks Review

I use it as a splitter for my 2.5mm LANC connector on my Sony FS5, which allows me to use both the grip and the traditional Lanc zoom rocker.

Not as described, female connections are loose and do not hold tight. Unfortunately I have just discovered that this cannot be returned. Too bad you don't sell a quality product.

Do not buy this product. Sockets are not making adequate contact with the mating connectors. I tried them with a headset and extension cords, one for each jack. They only generate a static charge when they wobble slightly. Also, the 2.5mm plug is quite small, which causes it to dangle in the socket it is plugged into.

After looking at the 2.5mm plug in the unopened box, I found that it was too small. I need the 3.5mm version. Tried to return, company does not allow return. Wanted to see if I could trade it in for the 3.5mm version but they don't have that option either. I would like to give zero stars for this purchase. I now have an unopened brand new 2.5mm splitter that will be gathering dust in my drawer.

I had to extend the Harmony hub's IR eyes to cover some blind spots and surprisingly there aren't many Y-branch cables with a 2.5mm Male and two 2.5mm jacks. This fits perfectly and works great. Since I don't use it for audio, I can't comment on the quality of the connections or durability, but for my application it should last forever. I just wish they had a black version so it doesn't shine through my display case.

This was the perfect solution to my problem with a Plantronics headset that needed to be connected to an AT&T cordless handset. I found some to be longer or shorter although they are all 2.5mm in diameter. This can result in the headset not fully connecting and creating annoying static charges.
