Very good for the price

This was the second large batch I ordered for the project. The first batch I ordered earlier this summer had a much better quality retaining spring. And the White Ring finish was smoother than the order I just received, seems like they came from a completely different factory but they are very similar to the first batch.

They get stuck in the Juno Jar and cannot be removed.

The spring flanges that hold these pads in place are poorly designed and are 100% stuck in the can and cannot be removed without damaging the pad. Also, the reflector is not as high quality as the Juno finish and causes these Torchstar finishes to have significantly more glare. They are almost blinding and the extra glare draws your attention straight to the light source as you enter the room, while Juno lamps are very thin and create a more comfortable atmosphere. I'm returning them to buy the

Nothing like the brand name

They are about 3/8-1/2 inches shorter than the brand name. This results in a large gap between the light and the overlay. Looks terrible. for a spring clip that shouldn't be there. It also sticks out a lot as the piece is much shorter than the original. It's made of stamped sheet metal which is strong but will rust on the outside. The whole idea of finishing is to make the light look good and they have the opposite effect. It cost me money that I could have spent on a signature brand but I…

Good value for money - BEWARE OF THE CANALS!

This finish was ordered for Hyperikon 4" backboxes. They were for the second project I was making. The first ones required white baffles which I believe were also from Torchstar, the difference being the bright steel reflectors .no white bars.I thought the design was identical. But it isn't.I had no problems with ANYTHING with this fairing.EXCEPT THE PINS.These pins are there to hold the fairing in place, which they do do.However, if you just push them in, the pins dig into the sunken glass and…

Wow! Perfect fit and huge savings! πŸ‘

Perfect match for my 4" Halo New Construction IC recessed light from the Big Store. I was skeptical but what a surprise! They fit perfectly and although they are a bit shorter than the Halo baffles they are tapered actually adjust to make up for this so they still have a nice finished look that a standard LED bulb (PAR 20) fits nicely in. In fact they are actually slightly better because they are metal and have a foam ring around them to seal drywall, which the Hal9 brand doesn't have. Also…
