Note the razor-sharp inner edge!

These can headlights look good, but the inner edge is razor sharp. Thus, attaching two springs to hold the can in place results in deep cuts on the fingers and knuckles. Not funny. In addition, the surface is not satin, but more like stainless steel. For this reason I cannot recommend this product.

Very pretty and will enhance your home!

These Torchstar recessed lights are very pretty! I had boring old gray and white ones that came built with the house - phew! They add a nice change of pace from the cream ceiling to the bronze finish of the lenses. They were very easy to install. I am very satisfied and love the new look in the kitchen and hallway!

As expected

Edges are sharp so wear gloves or be extra careful. I put on 5 of these and ended up with about 4 small cuts on my fingers and hands. For those interested, they will work with Commercial Electric banks. While the jars don't have the small holes that other jars do, they do have a couple of small holes at the top, either side of the bulb, and the spring hooks on these pads hold onto those holes. just great. It still depresses me that cheap stamped metal costs so much, but what can I do? They work

They look very nice but are difficult to install (IMO)

That's the deal with them. Once fitted with the new LED bulbs they looked great and were an inexpensive upgrade to the 20 year old canning lighting in my main living room. I installed six of them and by the time I got to the last one I had already taken them off but the first three were hard and my knuckles and hands were cut pretty badly. I suggest a LONG THIN needle nose pliers to grab the springs holding the bracket in place. This protects your hands from cuts. When I started using them my…
