💡 TORCHSTAR Basic Series 18W 8 Inch LED Recessed Lighting: Illuminating Excellence with Junction Box Review

Bright. I installed 6 of these in my new kitchen and all 6 work great. They fade well and have a nice cozy sheen. They actually have a really decent distribution pattern, so even 6 is too much for an average kitchen, but I have a few switches so you can adjust the light depending on the situation. The junction boxes are nice, metal and better than others I've used before. If you connect them in series you may need larger wire nuts than the ones provided. In general they are very satisfied.

Installed 4 pieces to illuminate a 500 sqm children's playroom. Now there is direct daylight. I didn't have dimmer switches but I think I can use them! Build quality seems good and they are very easy to install. They come with everything you need in the box. Once on the ceiling, they stay in place without dangling when touched, and thanks to the foam seal there are no drafts around the edges. Very happy with them for half the price of the future ones at Lowes.

I gave 4 stars because for $120 I'm expecting something as obvious as a "DO NOT SEND IF SEAL BREAKED" sticker, which always is still intact, or don't ship it. Bought to bring light into a large vaulted room. Installation was very easy as the brackets are so thin they even fit on the ceiling rod.
