Almost not from a Sunco 13W (100W equivalent)

I have bought a Torchstar 15W (120W equivalent stated) and a Sunco 13W (100W equivalent stated). It's actually hard to tell them apart. I probably wouldn't distinguish them in a cool white (4000K) blind test. In the warm white version (3000K), the Sunco 13W appears brighter than the Torchstar 15W. Dimming works well on both brands, with no in-camera flickering.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Five 2700K PAR38 for the kitchen

I tried 5000K bulbs from another manufacturer but they were too blue. I got these bulbs at 2700K and at full power they glow a pleasing color. A regular dimmer already installed for incandescent bulbs will work fine. Lamps can be dimmed to a very low level. My only complaint is that the color appears too gray at low levels, probably just a trait of any LED lamp. PAR38 ensures a good concentration of light on my kitchen worktops. The price was lower than the first brand I bought but they just…

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something

These lamps are bright and the right 4000K color. Focusing is good, side glare is very low. With a normal dimmer without LEDs, they dim to a very low level. The front is absolutely weatherproof and has no cooling slots. The cost for six packs is good for the $30 I paid.

Pros
  • 💡High quality guaranteed: With UL and Energy Star certification, this spotlight lamp meets strict manufacturing standards
Cons
  • Very expensive

  • Big and chunky
