Too bad I didn't buy this light. The main part of the promotion mentions that this might require a 40w max bulb, NOT just a '40w equivalent' LED bulb as stated in the fine print which I didn't read carefully enough. I had to look at the proposed lamps. I like a very bright light for reading, but a 100w equivalent LED bulb (which is a lot less than 40w) is too long for a bell and sticks out. At lower wattage I don't think this light is suitable for use as a main table lamp, which could well be…
