Compact, durable, easy to use BUT comes in a thin box

This box should be in every trunk. They're very small when folded, but when unfolded they're a handy size if it's a mall or light trailer. I'm giving it -2 stars because of the packaging. Lightweight single ply cardboard that fell apart at first touch. So now I need to find something to keep them.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not for everyone

Small, compact, keeps van from rocking

I have a small kei van and use it for camping/picnics. However, it is older and is parked in 1st gear/reverse gear and handbrake. It still allows for some 'rocks' to pass when getting in and out, so the placement of these two on the front wheel has been reduced, assuring me they won't roll away. Bright red to match the red van, snaps back into the box for easy storage without messing up the floor mats.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Very expensive

They flatten out when you flip them

I've used them a lot when changing the oil. I didn't feel their work as they were always easy to remove after the job was done. But recently I completely forgot about them, having done the work, I started the car, released the handbrake, turned on reverse, my car could not move, of course I slightly pressed the gas pedal, it still remained motionless , kinda weird I thought, so I hit the gas harder and my car pulled out of my garage, around that time, I finally remembered, the big reds were…

Tools and Equipment Required

Rated for 16" wheels, up to 4000 lbs. What is your permissible total weight? Many modern cars use large wheels with low profile tires, in contrast to last year's cars which used smaller wheels and larger tires. Are you sure with some hinged pieces of metal less than half a gallon of milk? It's an A-frame design and the triangles have a lot of power. The engineer can calculate and account for the true tolerances for that item. To me, this is better than simply using a random piece of wood that…

The dimensions given do not match the product. I had to replace a couple of pads that were accidentally knocked over and crushed. The dimensions listed in the specs are 5.9 x 4.1 x 2.6 inches, but they are actually only 4.9 x 3.4 x 1.2 inches. Will definitely be returning them as they are too small to be useful. I suggest you don't buy them unless you want to use a small car (I need them when I'm working on my expedition). Check out the attached photo. The wedge on the left is my native block…

Pros
  • Immobilizers and pads
Cons
  • Can be retrofitted
