Best Version Control System for many of us

It's an easy way (and it works) with our team mates, I can see all my commits in one place so there won't any confusion about who did what; The GUI version looks great! And you have lot more features than just committing your code - branching & merging branches are also very simple using this software.- The error reporting mechanism could use some improvement as sometimes getting information from user would not always work out perfectly well even if they do everything correctly but still get…

Pros
  • Everything is good here
  • Fast loading time for initial checkin/commits&pulls/
  • Nice UI design / ease to understand how things should be done
  • Good support forum availableHere're couple other tools which might help me make pull requests easier too :Dhttps://sourceforge.net/projects/vsspxehttp://visualstudiogallery.msdn
Cons
  • Almost never

TortoiseSVN is amazing for managing your repositories

The best part about tortoisesvn was its UI, which I liked very much! It's interface has been made even better with this new version!! Now it looks like Subversion but in Git style. This software works great when you have multiple people working together using different computers so they can easily access their code from anywhere without having any issues while doing…

Pros
  • It's interface is very easy to use and the whole process of version control is very easy and straightforward
Cons
  • Nothing really, everything works great
