💡 Toshiba PA3467E-1AC3 19V 3.42A 65W AC Adapter - Original Power Supply for Compatible Toshiba Models Review

DO NOT BUY! It literally caught fire if we weren't home it would burn our whole house down. We had to beat the flames out of our sofa. This happened more than six months ago and only now do I have the opportunity to write this review.

The charger works fine but it's not labeled as a Toshiba like my other two Toshiba adapters. I specifically chose this item because it was called "Toshiba Genuine AC Adapter". I assumed I was getting a Toshiba product and was willing to pay a little more for that certainty. Thankfully, it wasn't much more expensive than other non-OEM options.

The charger came quickly and is as described. Worked for five months, then it started to hiss. Now the current is not enough to charge the laptop. I will buy another one to see if there is an isolated case, two stars. - Update, three months later came a similar but not identical charger. This charger worked with no problems other than heating up and suddenly stopped working again. Downgrade from two stars to one star.

I bought this cable to replace the cable I am currently using which has become very positional and sensitive with age. The cable worked well until about three days. After I rolled up the cable to put in my laptop bag to go to the library, the second half of the cable, where it plugs into the adapter box, had the black casing completely chipped off, exposing the wires. I really liked this charger! It had a very fast loading time, at least 2x faster than my original, and I love that the part that fits into my computer is at a 90° angle so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like the last one . did.
