Great for video, bad for keyboard/mouse

Purchased to replace docking stations designed for mobile device manufacturers that come with laptops. The video works well enough as others have pointed out. Plug in your keyboard and mouse and let the fun begin. The dock comes with its own software that is recommended for extraction. So if you have a keyboard or mouse plugged in, ejection will be denied as it disables the UI device. What a concept! Give me a dock for my HIDs and then refuse to work as intended because I have the HID plugged…

OK Overall with some issues

Received DynaDock (DVI version) about a month ago. I use it with two fairly new (10 month old and 5 month old) Toshiba laptops. I followed the installation procedures and the dock "worked" with both PCs. Note the following: 1. When using a 22 inch monitor (1600x1050 resolution) and setting the video color to 32 bit, windows open and close very slowly and jerkily (setting to 16 bit fixed this problem). 2. Once you've installed the dynadock software on a laptop - every time you start that laptop…

One USB port for easy connection

I've been using this product for almost two months now and it satisfies my desire for easy connection to a range of devices when using my laptop at home and office. While the installation wasn't particularly difficult, it's imperative to go to Toshiba's website and get the latest drivers. Like "gotcha", this site seems to support drivers in multiple locations and/or formats. . . The first set I found didn't install successfully, the next set was fine. I use this docking station with my Toshiba…

Working USB Dock

I am very pleased with this versatile USB Dock. It works as advertised with support for two external monitors (one connected to the laptop's video output and the second monitor connected to the built-in Dynadock video port). I'm using it with a 22" WS monitor and a 19" non-WS monitor at 1600x1050 and 1280x1024 respectively. Dynadock network, audio and additional USB ports work as advertised. The device/setup also supports using the laptop's built-in screen as a third monitor, but in my case…

Dynadock DVI - Docking Stations

I was NOT able to find any useful information about this device online so I hope you find it useful. The whole purpose of this device is to make it easier to remove accessories and monitors from your laptop as you come and go. This is NOT a regular dock that you connect a separate keyboard to. I bought this device to have 3 monitors at the same time to view three different screens at the same time. It does exactly that, and very well! I have DVI so I had the option to use that input when…
