Didn't really plan on buying these

Didn't read the description and wanted to buy a lamp holder and a much larger one ended up buying lamps with these but then had a great time hanging out with friends too play, so I'd say it's worth buying.

Some assembly required

Extremely light (low quality = cheap). Five out of 10 holders arrived unassembled (full/partial assembly required); One of the sockets turned out to be unusable because the thread on the mounting base was broken. I will visit my local hobby shop next time.

Pretty fragile. Carefully unscrew the bulb.

Good. The lamp lights up as it should. But when you try to remove the bulb, the bottom screw often gets stuck and the plug falls out. Basically it breaks down. I used them with my 3rd grade students and had to tell them, "Don't take out the lightbulb! Leave 'em ass!'. And they worked fine. However, this is a major design flaw. A little glue (solder?) to secure the bottom screw/plug and you should be fine. But for now I'll post look for others with a better design.
