That's only half of Merino wool. The hat is not as soft as the other versions listed but I think it will be warmer in cold weather. The rest is much softer and, frankly, more comfortable. This merino version is also smaller and therefore conforms better to the head as it conforms to the shape of your skull. However, this is a beautiful cap.

I am ordering this item for myself but my wife had a crush on it and as I am a good husband I wore it now and she loved it. She claims it's the best hat she's ever worn. I'm very glad she likes it because she was wearing an old one that was just worn out. I asked her if she would like other colors but she only likes this one. I'm so impressed I think I'll order a few for myself.

Love everything about this cap! It's soft and light, but the knitting is dense so air doesn't blow through - I'm warm in it, but I don't overheat. I hand washed it and let it dry after an outdoor workout. Dries quickly and looks like new. I can fold it up quite compactly to fit in my purse when I want to take it off my head and have it handy. I know I'll use it for travel too - it doesn't take up much space! My new absolute favourite!

This cap is perfect. Fully covers the head and ears without being too tight or too loose. It's very warm and cosy, and I actually drive when it's 25-30 degrees outside with the heating off because it's so warm. Definitely great value for money. The material is strong and thick (as shown in the photos) with just enough stretch to not be too tight. It's just as good as the Carhartt hats I've had in the past but twice the price.

I was a bit skeptical about this product and if not it would compare well to similar synthetic knit hats but it definitely worked well. I ordered the first one in December 2019 and now finally a year later I'm ordering more because they have held up very well. Of course there are spots where the thread has snapped and stretched with use, but overall this is the best knitted hat I've had. Too bad there aren't any other color options for it, I'd like a green version of it.

Green. Color and material are great! However, it's a little shorter than I had hoped. When I wear it over my ear with a double layer and the crease is not too short, it folds back over my forehead hairline when I want it to fully cover my ears. I have to apply it carefully to get the opacity I want. Which isn't ideal for really cold weather when I have to adjust it with gloves on if I bump or hit something.
