This item is STRONG, you can throw it off a building and it won't hurt. My vest is heavy and I can put a few pieces on it and it won't be a problem. I'm sure you could do pull ups and nothing would happen. I like the built in handle. It's actually useful and you can use it on more than just one vest. You can use it with hose extensions

Use this to fit a full Tier 4 carrier and plate assembly with 3 rifle mags, 3 pistol mags, a full ALS ifak, a 2 liter water bladder and more to hold. Holds very well, fits on a standard clothes rail. Using it to hang a rod that isn't attached to the wall will pull the rod down. The handle is great and works very well. Highly recommended for the intended use of carrying/hanging protective vests.

The rigid hanger with the hook that was delivered was different from the picture. It was a version with a rounder top. As it was a gift I didn't have time to return it. It needed to be used by someone for an external ballistic vest, and it was designed to do the job. I am disappointed when I receive something other than the item in the photo. I deliberately chose the design in the photo instead of the one I received.

I sleep a little better on these crazy days knowing my bulletproof vest is there. But I was never satisfied with him standing on the floor and leaning against the wall. I saw this sturdy hanger and thought why not? SO glad I took the risk. This easily supports the weight of a ballistic vest and allows you to keep it handy but neatly stowed nearby. No sagging or bending. Just hang there, carry the weight like a champ.

I bought this to hang an Aqualung XL BCD for diving and it fits perfectly. I'm ordering another one for my wife, women's size L, which also fits well. One of the things I love is the reversible handle/hook that allows you to hang your BC in place or carry it and then hang it up when you return to your accommodation. Well made and durable, I can imagine wearing it for years and supporting almost any rig you could use, from diving to tactical.

Extra thick and strong. As soon as I pulled it out of the box I knew it wasn't going to work. They made the top hook MUCH small. It only has a 1 inch opening and my wood slatted cabinet is slightly larger. This could easily be taken into account in the design. I'm a bum Edit: A few years later I took a hacksaw, cut about an inch off the end of the hook and sanded it to a smooth finish. Works great now, just a shame it doesn't work.

My department recently enabled us to wear outer vests. I fell for it and got one straight away. But then I found my new vest with all the Molle gear and everything else didn't fit in my locker anymore. Looking through the options, I found this. After purchasing it, I can't believe I've lived without it for so long. It holds my gear perfectly and shows no signs of strain.
