According to my experience with these horse boots, they're not worth the purchase. While they're vented to keep your horse's legs cool, they're not durable enough for active riding. I found that they wore down quickly after just a few rides, which was really disappointing. Although they're marketed as "tough," they're actually quite flimsy. As an avid equestrian who purchases many pet supplies, I was really disappointed with these boots.

We go out on the path and at this time of year there are stickers and thorns everywhere. These leg wraps are so difficult to wash afterwards that they're almost never worth washing, but the quality of protection is important.
