This is a quality product in construction and material, quite green but the transparent flap inside is not big enough if you need something to hide duplicate receipts shut down. So I can't use it. I can't return for free either, I have to pay the shipping. :( I hope this review will help someone looking for a vegan checkbook cover save time and money. This one won't.

I've been using it for about a month. I like it and am mostly happy with it. I don't detect any unpleasant smell from it. It has a delimiter, but it's not easy to use. I can accommodate anything I need. it, but it doesn't close flat. I don't have much in it. so I don't know what the problem is. It doesn't matter much. He keeps my checks and that's all I really need.

I bought it because the picture shows that a pen fits inside. The pin will not fit a standard sized test block. The checkbook cover shows a small copy of the check (why?). The leather finish is matte not shiny as shown (Royal Blue). The seams are straight and even, as shown in the picture. Leather edges as shown. Looks like a good seal. It fits a check pad, ledger, and credit card (or a pen with several loose checks and a credit card).

There appear to be three styles of this item that combine into one item in Revain. I bought the "Saint" style which has a plastic flap for security. When a check is issued, only one copy is made. I wanted a check book to write checks. This item doesn't work as expected, so I don't need it: the valve is too small and doesn't cover the standard receipt writing area. Also the valve seems solid when written on it but for some reason mine had scratches.

I wanted a simple check book cover and it seemed to fit the bill along with a great price. However, looking at the picture, the thick plastic wrap used in writing the check is much smaller than a regular check, making it unusable. inside unless the valve is closed. But easily fits in a check book, has an extra pocket on the other side. I won't buy it again though, I'll have to look better.

Love the colour, very easy to find, classic red. I also like that it looks well made in every way except for a small tear on the inside near the card slots. I am very annoyed that it doesn't close when you put in my checkbook (one) and when you close it the front gets longer than the back. If they would just make it at least half an inch longer in the middle, maybe even more if you use double receipts. I am unhappy with this purchase as I received this to protect my checks.
