🎒 Travel in Style with the TrailKicker Backpack Flight Approved Weekender Review

I took this bag on a 5 day trip and it has held up great. I wish there were compression straps because while there was enough room for all my stuff the overall size of the bag is large. My family who traveled with me had their ebags and they looked thinner because they had compression straps. Overall good value for money but could do with some improvement.

My wife and I were taking a 10 day trip to Europe and I needed something to carry on my back and at the same time carry enough clothes for 10 days. I came across this beautiful tail bag. She behaved like a champ and made it through the European trip with no problems! It is built to last and I will be recommending it to family and friends.

The bag is exactly what I was looking for. It fits everything I need for a 4 week trip to Europe (about 1 week of the clothes I want to wash) and easily fits on top. My only advice is don't overpack it, leave room for other things and use packing cubes. If you want more real water resistance, spritz on some Scotch Guard and use a zip-lock wax candle.

Offers plenty of space for a long or short trip. I used the packing cubes and packed for a 3 week trip to Europe! The only complaint was how stiff the wrist straps were. But I'm sure they can be cracked even more with more use. I could take it as a sequel! But at one point the plane was very small and my bag was too heavy for them. but apart from that one plane to Croatia I took it everywhere.

I love this bag although I could have used one with wheels as I was using it as carry on and had to deal with other checked bags upon arrival. It's about the size of a small suitcase but is flexible and lightweight - I filled it to the brim and it has proven very durable. Lots of pockets and fits a 17 inch laptop which makes it pretty heavy with everyone else. Highly recommend if all you can do is take this out and carry it in your bag or carry it around.

The bag is made solidly and firmly. The zippers are strong and well placed. In fact, this is an unstructured case, just what I was looking for. When full and square the measurements are, but since there is no structure it will of course be measured longer and wider when flat (not full). So if you have someone to measure (my kid could only take a certain school trip size bag), just pack it completely :) It was easy to carry even for a 14 year old kid.

I love this bag for the design of the different compartments and the universal transition between backpack and normal hand luggage. It's about as big as carry-on luggage can go, estimating the maximum capacity. But this is only my second flight with him and he's falling apart. The seams of the bag around the handle cannot bear the weight of the bag and are slowly tearing. I will miss this bag. But unfortunately, after only two trips, you can no longer trust him to stick together.

I have been climbing 3 times a year for more than ten years. I had a great Kelty that lasted forever but due to tightening international luggage restrictions I had to downsize a bit. I knew it wouldn't last forever at this price but I figured as long as I could use it for 2-3 years it was worth my money.
