Great tool for training

Our Maltipu learned to call for a treat the same day. One in the kitchen and one in front of the front door. Brilliant! It took several days to teach her how to ring the bell to go outside. She always sat quietly by the door and we didn't know she was waiting to come out. Now she calls and we can record her right away.

Great dog bell

I love this item! If in doubt about ordering it or not, just do it. Great price for two. I've tried several other types of calls and alerts and this is by far the best. The size is good. The ease of pressing the button to activate is great. The call is pleasant, not loud. Whoever designed it was right! It didn't take me long to teach my newly adopted little girl how to let me know when she needed to go potty. Can't say enough good things about this product. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Easy setup

Easy to teach to learn!

I liked these toys because my puppy learned pretty quickly to tell us when to go outside. He sits silently by the back door until he can't hold himself back like a dog, but he found that out within a week. But now he uses it for everything, during lunch? THINGS! need water? THINGS! he keeps us on our toes! Welcome to our dog hotel! ha ha. Even so there are 2 of them. We use one upstairs and one on the back door. When we travel as a family we take one with us so he will let us know when he needs

Pros
  • Great design

  • poorly thought out

They work great until your dog decides it's a chew toy

My Miniature Schnauzer learned very quickly to use a bell to tell me to go outside. She also learned to bark to send me the same message. After that, she decided the bells were chew toys. She likes to rip off the rubber end while listening to the bell ring. I've worn the rubber end many times but she must think I'm doing it to undress her again. They were removed from my house anyway, but are great for dogs who aren't as hyperactive as I am. I was happy with this purchase.

Great value, works

Great value dog training bell, great value. You get 2 bells and a clicker (we don't use it). Bells don't always ring loudly unless hit correctly, which our dog is yet to figure out, but generally he figured out how to bang the bell very quickly. First we started training them with treats and rings. We then added a tailgate opening with sound and let the goodies spill out (she wasn't thrilled with that part) and now it's just a door. It was about a week of training. We make sure she rings every…
