Excellent Dual Band Radio!

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice as an electronics hobbyist, I can confidently say that this CB & Two-Way Radio is a great choice for anyone who needs a reliable communication device. The TRAM 1192 Pre Tuned 150 154 Dual Band has a strong signal and its setup is easy due to the clear instructions. However, the design could be a bit more compact to make it easier to carry around.

Pros
  • Easy to install and use, with no tuning required.
Cons
  • Slightly narrower bandwidth compared to other similar antennas, which can limit the range of frequencies it can receive and transmit.

So far I'm impressed.

I installed it in less than 20 minutes. Perfectly adjusted. So far it captures all the local translators well. The real test starts tomorrow. I'm sure I'll post updates on this.

Pros
  • Accessory
Cons
  • Fits

Follow the instructions and thoroughly clean the glass inside and out with alcohol or acetone. Adjust the adjustable screw, and then ground the wire. Very good SWR and distance for GMRS, channels 22 to 15: SWR 1.01 and 22 to 15: 1.15 to 1.11. Used immediately.

Cons
  • Garden tools
