Not Worth the Hassle

When I tried this product, it was a complete disappointment. The signal quality was poor and the setup process was time-consuming and frustrating. The only positive aspect was the sturdiness of the product. However, the subpar performance overshadowed any benefits. Overall, this purchase was a waste of money and I do not recommend it to anyone in need of reliable electronics.

Pros
  • Durable and reliable for demanding industrial environments
Cons
  • Does not fit with non-Motorola connectors, limiting flexibility in usage

Accessory mount

This NMO mount does exactly what it needs. I connect it to a UHF roof adapter for a Yaesu ATAS HF/50m antenna. Although the antenna has a UHF connector, the low attenuation provided by the adapter is an advantage for increasing the mounting area of the NMO. Installation is easy, requiring only a 3/4" drill bit, and I recommend some Loctite as well.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • No insurance

High SWR, not recommended

I've had this cable for a few weeks now, just hooked it up to the GMRS radio in my truck and the SWR is 15.50-15.70 {must be around 1.5 or below} Antenna replaced with another TRAM antenna I have and the SWR hasn't changed, plugged in a spare cable I have and the SWR is 1.4 {within operating range}. This cable has good reviews, maybe I got a bad cable, but I will not buy this cable again.

Pros
  • Portable AV
Cons
  • Only available in black
