Good buy CB and talkback radios

This antenna has been installed in my jeep for over 3 years. Paired with my QYT-8900 25 watts. It has an acceptable SWR of around 1.5. I can meet all my local repeaters over 20 miles away. Strong enough to withstand the rigors of the track, if it falls off while driving, it must have been installed incorrectly. From what I understand, orientation also matters, so check out a YouTube video about it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Crumpled

Has no power. for portable audio and video equipment

After careful tuning and perfect pairing of indoor and outdoor elements and tuning to the highest possible SWR (1.7), the antenna received almost no signal and had practically no transmission range (less than 1 /10 miles). I found the antenna useless. It has good adhesion to glass and the setting function works. It just can't overcome design hurdles.

Pros
  • a fine thing
Cons
  • no

Even a good dummy load

Even a good dummy load. Never could get a real match. There is so much common mode current on the screen that if I put my hand near the antenna analyzer, the VSWR changes. When connected to a transmitter, the standing wave continues to increase as the buttons are pressed. The radiation from the "antenna" isn't even enough to move the arrow on the field strength meter that's on the dashboard. (Comparable magazine holder secures needle)

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not a very good performance.

Well I tried. I rejected all other negative reviews and recommendations. I had to listen to other buyers. All necessary steps were taken to ensure the installation was perfect. Set up with a meter. 1.3 in SWR. Nothing good at the reception. I seriously doubt that he can transfer. While camping by the lake, I noticed that traffic skips. It was on CB19. In fact, I don't even know how it happened. Bottom line, it's just not the best alternative to a rigid whip antenna. I was hoping to get at least

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Working speed

With the setting it works great.

Although it worked out of the box for average reception, I used an antenna SWR meter (which unfortunately most people can't handle) to tune it perfectly. Many antennas have to be tuned anyway for the best reception. The SWR Tuning Meter can be purchased here at Revain for less than $20. I have owned and used one for many years. Most people only use two or three of their favorite channels on a regular basis, and the bass, middle and treble channels often require slightly different tuning, or if…

  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
