Holds about 31GB after formatting. I use it as an extra hard drive as my laptop has an SSD which isn't big enough for all my files. I had a different brand mini SD card, 64GB, and it started to fail after about half a year of use, deleting a lot of my files :( Fortunately, after several months of daily use, this card didn't give me any problems. Unfortunately, I lost my first one while traveling but immediately bought another of the same type knowing it was great quality and compatible with my…

Tons of storage! fits memory cards

"I've bought Transcend SDXC cards before and they work great. I use them for my VCR and they haven't let me down. Transcend's 16GB High Speed Class 10 UHS-1 SDHC memory is one of the fastest SDHC memory cards currently available on the market. It's great for transferring pictures from a card to a PC or Mac using your computer's SD card reader. Works flawlessly / plugged it into my camera and it shot flawlessly on my flash. Was able to take lots of pictures and didn't worry about running out of…

A fast and reliable SD card that lives in my DSLR.

I have tried many SD cards over the past 10 years and have been very happy with the performance and reliability of Transcend and SanDisk cards. I've never had a single crash, but had to upgrade due to the increase in file size on newer cameras. I think one of my first SD cards was 64MB - no longer practical as my RAW files are 16-17MB each! Before purchasing this card I was using a 16GB SanDisk Extreme 45MB/s with my Sony A57. I've never had a problem with this card but wanted something with a…

Inexpensive Class 10 SDHC

Class 10 SDHC memory cards are great if you take a lot of photos. Post-capture save speed affects your ability to capture the exact photo you may miss. Transcend offers good value per GB. What amazes me is that memory cards cost a lot more in terms of storage capacity. Even if the price has come down over the years due to usage. Just because an SDHC card has more memory, the price is quite high from small to large, even though the memory chip is in a small plastic case. Manufacturers seem to…

Fast read speed, slower write - 86MB/s read, 35MB/s write.

I bought this card a few months ago and it's a pretty good card for the money. It's fast, almost matching the speed advertised on my Mac, but the write speed leaves a lot to be desired (compared to other cards advertising similar speeds). When reading, I get 86 MB/s, but only about 35 MB/s. Write speed with this card. I've seen other reviewers test writes near 45MB/s, and I've found that speeds seem to improve when your write is stable enough (unlike most cards, which are quick to start seem to
