great drivetrain and gearing adjustability

comes with all needed weights and springs, it took me 9 tries to get the 350 turbo in my 56 to shift where I wanted. Shifting around 1200 rpm, now over 2000 rpm.

Pros
  • certified
Cons
  • almost everything is ok

Great kit, perfectly matched

The kit worked great. It took a few times to get it right but it's just what I needed. Items were delivered quickly and in good condition. I would definitely buy it again if I need it for a different setup.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

perfect kit for tuning 700r4 shift.

gives clear instructions and allows me to change shift points as needed for my 700r4. I put a shift kit and Corvette servo on the car and needed to increase the shift point. I got a bit more aggressive the first time and was able to set it up easily with this kit. Love it.

A good set for your money

700R4 in my Shevelle switched from 1st to WOT at about 4000rpm. After swapping out both weights and springs I got to 5500 which is pretty much what I want. It's definitely a matter of trial and error. I recommend using a kitchen scale to weigh the weights in this set as well as the weights that are inside the regulator before you begin.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

Scales are a good idea. The quality of the parts did not convince me.

I had to drill 3/32" holes in the weights. Obviously the holes were distorted when the weights were stamped. I had to grind a bit to get them in. The axles (pins) are supposed to have a groove for screw clamps. They were only partially machined. I used a 3/32" stainless steel weld rod and made my own pins. With all that said, I'm planning on buying another set to set the shift points on my Typhoon.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not the best
